The Logistics Data Bank (LDB) offers comprehensive container visibility services across all major Indian container terminals throughout the entire transportation process via road, rail, and sea. Its offerings enable stakeholders to monitor container movement, assess performance metrics, and enhance transparency within the supply chain. Recent updates introduce advanced features that provide real-time sea influence visibility, tracking containers from their port of origin to their destination, including transshipment and transit points. The LDB system is seamlessly integrated with Terminal Operating Systems (TOS), Freight Operation Information System (FOIS), and various third-party EXIM data sources, facilitating a unified flow of information.

NICDC Logistics Data Services (NLDS), formerly known as DMICDC Logistics Data Services, is a joint venture between the Government of India—represented by the National Industrial Corridor Development and Implementation Trust—and NEC Corporation, a leading Japanese IT firm. The partnership is evenly split with a 50:50 equity stake.

Founded on December 30, 2015, NLDS aims to harness ICT solutions to transform the Indian logistics sector by promoting the adoption of best practices across diverse processes to improve efficiency. The organization’s mission includes increasing visibility and transparency within logistics operations, streamlining supply chain activities, and supporting government initiatives to enhance the Ease of Doing Business in India.
